Spirit in Me.... A Poem for Today

Immanuel, Spirit in me

     Please move in me

Seek out and find opportunities

Reach and turn

     Knobs on the doors that I need to swing

     Wide open

Kick down the doors that I cannot

Ward off evil and

     Send insult and injury back 

     On those delivering them

Let me RISE UP

Remind me to STAND TALL

Stand in my dignity and self-respect

Help me OWN my masterpiece life

And remember

     This is but a springboard 

     To financial recovery

But You are my redemption

LIVE in that
